Our History Blackman Detective Services was founded by William Allison Blackman in 1993 after 30 years of exemplary service, retiring as a homicide detective with the Raleigh Police Department. Mr. Blackman’s team of highly qualified professionals include retired law enforcement officers as well as seasoned private investigators, whose combined knowledge and expertise, provide each client with efficient, thorough and professional investigations.

For over 16 years, Blackman Detective Services has worked extensively with a variety of law firms and insurance industry professionals as well as public and private businesses.

Our investigators are licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, along with having reciprocal agreements and affiliations that allow us to operate in just about every state and country.
